As a self-pay patient, members are free to choose any provider. Members are provided access to healthcare cost reference tools and the provider directory below to research and select healthcare providers who charge fair and reasonable industry rates. These providers are designated in the directory with a green check mark and the indication of “Suggested Provider”.

All submitted charges will undergo an assessment to determine if charges are fair and reasonable and Liberty HealthShare reserves the right, on behalf of its members, to determine what part of an expense is unreasonable. Qualifying medical expenses with reasonable charges are eligible for sharing. Excess charges deemed unreasonable (balanced bills) are not shareable.
